City
DOG (or Dog Owner's Group) was started in response to the need for off- leash
areas where dog owners and their pets can play and socialize with like minded
people and canines.
In
order to develop a special use area in the city parks system, the Parks Department
makes the land available to the interest group, the group pays for
the development and Parks takes over care and
maintenance of the facility.
City DOG is working in partnership with the
Boise Parks Department to create a system of Off- Leash Areas
(OLAs) in Boise. We are dedicated to raising the necessary funds
to develop the OLAs and to promoting responsible dog
ownership.
City DOG is a non-profit corporation, registered with the
Idaho Secretary of State.
