One of our goals at City D.O.G. is to make life better for our four legged friends by encouraging responsible dog ownership. Dogs are pack animals and, as such, need to be included in the family. Some people are simply too busy to give a dog the necessary time and attention. Dogs who don’t get enough training, exercise or play time are often the "problem" dogs who end up in the pound. We urge you to think long and hard before bringing a dog into the family. These pages are intended to help you choose a dog who will fit in with your family and lifestyle- and to provide resources for you if you need to find a new home for your pet.
